Rock lake and flatboat trip
In the past, the local lake was used for moving lumber. Over 150 years ago, however, the first tourists were taken on the lake, thus embarking on the first boat ride. The lake’s overflow creates The Great Waterfall, which is particularly magical in winter, as it freezes over every year.

- 100 CZK / adult
- 70 CZK / reduced admission (student up to 26 years, senior 65+, ZTP / P card holder + accompanying person)
- 50 CZK / child from 3 to 15 years
Opening hours
Opening hours start at 9:00 in the morning and end in the afternoon at 17:00. Cruises on the rocky lake take place from May to the end of October. In good weather, the boats leave in April.
Important info
The path to the lake, where the boat ride takes place, leads only from the paid circuit.
The boat ride takes place on the Rock Lake near the Great Waterfall, not at the sandstone quarry near the entrance to the rocks.

A gorgeous view is waiting for you at The Great Waterfall, which rolls down into a rock gorge from a height of 16 metres. The waterfall’s flow rate is regulated, as a lake is situated directly above it, where the boat rides take place. In winter, The Great Waterfall transforms into the most marvellous icefall.
